A weekend of fashion dilemmas...

So this weekend I turned the dreaded 20 (the awful realisation you are now in fact an adult!) but the most prominent thing on my mind was what to wear. Being someone who likes to celebrate their birthday for a whole week and not just a day, I was going to need some gorgeous outfits for my celebrations. After weeks of deliberating I finally chose 3 outfits which I loved.

So what did I go decide on? Take a look...

For the Thursday night I went out in town with the girls and I chose this River Island sequined leapord print dip hem maxi. I loved this dress the minute I seen it and it was an absolute bargain at £30 in the sale! Thanks River Island! I teamed it with these gorgeous garage peep toe seude wedges with gold stud detail.

Next their was my birthday meal at a lovely Italians on the Queyside with my boyfriend. I wanted to wear something dressy but not to dressy that I would feel over dressed (a common dilemma of mine!) So I went for this black Miss Selfridge dress, I loved the detailing of the top with the simplicty of the bodycon bottom. I styled the outfit with black tights - not ideal but it had started to snow in Newcastle so was a must - nude heels and matching shoulder bag.

The dress is £42 but don't forget they offer 10% discount for students and are currently offering free delivery on all orders over £40 online.

Next was my actually birthday night so this dress had to be special! I picked it out three weeks in advance and absolutely loved it. I love the neck detail on my Miss Selfridge dress. I teamed it with these gorgeous Dorothy Perkins nude beaded bow courts and cream clutch. My friend (pictured) also for a stunning Lipsy peplum which flattered her figure perfectly.

These shoes were £55 but so worth it! I had so many compliments and luckily they were comfy too!

So all in all I think I had a pretty succesful birthday weekend! I would love to know your opinions on any of the items pictured.
